The winter has come

Finally.

I had an excellent weekend with dad and sister in Otepää enjoying downhill skiing for the first time of this winter. I could barely believe we will see any snow when driving there on Friday from wetty and sticky Tartu and having heard news during past 2 weeks from the whole Estonia about floods, too high river/lake/sea levels etc. But we did! And I was glad realising I still know how to come down from the hill. Still, I didn't dare to take the snowboard - remember too well the last year :o)

Anyway, my bones are aching and I did run into a post once, which has created a huge bruise to my knee, but it's ok. I'm happy for spending time with my family, being outside for the whole day and getting a good change for the books. And I can really imagine missing cold and snow in case my future traineeship is going to be in a warm country.
